Fishing can be found as close as 10 miles away at Jim Creek, There are numerous rivers in the Mat-Su valley all teaming with Fish.  Depending on time of the year, salmon are plentiful Chinook(King), Sockeye(Red), Coho(Silver), Chum(Dog), Humpy(Pink).  Further away Halibut, Lake Trout, Grayling, and many others can be caught.
